The Chep CCC Catalyst Bin

Chep CCC has revolutionized the packaging and transportation of catalyst by introducing the CCC Catalyst-Bin as an alternative to regular circular drums to unload, transport and store spent hydro-processing catalysts. With CCC Catalyst-Bins, refiners are able to unload their catalyst in an efficient, less time-consuming and safe way compared to drums, optimizing the total costs of the shutdown operation. ExplainMedia produced this promotion video for Chep CCC.

ExplainMedia delivers simulators with field operator views to the STC Group

ExplainMedia and Dutch simulator company Mobatec delivered a series of simulators with field operator views to the STC Group. The brand new STC complex in Brielle (The Netherlands) has a simulator lab entirely dedicated to the Mobatec/ExplainMedia simulators. Every simulator station has two displays: A DCS view on the left, and ExplainMedia's Outside Operator Module on the right. Both are linked to Mobatec's process simulator.

Chairman of the Executive Board of the STC Group Erik Hietbrink demonstrates a Mobatec simulator with ExplainMedia's Outside Operator Module.

Training Simulator for the Dutch Shipping and Transport College

ExplainMedia teamed with the Dutch simulator company Mobatec BV to produce the first of a series of simulators with an outside view that allows students to operate training units just like they would do in the real world. The simulated control room view is represented by a Honeywell DCS screen, driven by Mobatec's simulator. Students can walk around the plant, zoom in on certain areas, take readings, and operate equipment.

A high definition version is available on ExplainMedia's YouTube channel.

ExplainMedia produces Hyroprocessing Associates promotion video

ExplainMedia has delivered a promotion video to Hydroprocessing Associates, LLC ("HPA"), a U.S. and Singapore based company specialized in reactor dense loading and related services. HPA's dense loader, known as the Hydropac, has many advantages, and ExplainMedia used 3D animations to illustrate this. The video offers cut-out views of the reactor, animations of the Hydropac in operation, and a focus on how catalyst is loaded.

The promotion video can be viewed on the website of Hydroprocessing Associates, and on ExplainMedia's YouTube channel.
