Catalyst Dense Loading
ExplainMedia has delivered a promotion video to Hydroprocessing Associates, LLC ("HPA"), a U.S. and Singapore based company, specialized in reactor dense loading and related services. HPA's dense loader, known as the Hydropac, has many advantages, and ExplainMedia used 3D animations to illustrate this. The video offers cut-out views of the reactor, animations of the Hydropac in operation, and a focus on how catalyst is loaded.

ExplainMedia's Virtual Refinery Add-On
In 2005, ExplainMedia developed 3D "Virtual Refinery" extensions to existing process simulations. Since then, the Virtual Refinery Add-On has been widely used by technical colleges and refineries.
The modules cover fundamental equipment operation for a distillation unit starting with centrifugal pump operation working the trainees up to running a complete distillation plant.
In 2009, the range of 3D add-ons was extended by an Atmospheric Crude Unit (ACU), and a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU).The United States Military Academy at West Point was one of the first educational institutes to use this add-on in process safety classes.
